Happy Faery Day

Happy Fairy Day!

Today is National Fairy Day! And, in honor of all Fey everywhere, we have some cool things for you!

First off, a giveaway! How does a signed Iron Fey trilogy sound to you? (That would be The Iron King, The Iron Daughter, and The Iron Queen.)

Good? Excellent! To enter, tweet a favorite faery quote with the hashtag #fairyday, or put it up on your blog/facebook/tumblr somewhere. Then leave your name, email, and the quote in the comments below.

Example: "Lord, what fools these mortals be." -Robin Goodfellow, A Midsummer's Night Dream. #fairyday (Open to everyone. Giveaway will run to July 16th.)

Okay, now for something really cool. Check these out.

Pretty awesome wallpaper, no? You can thank Harlequin Teen for these gorgeous works of art. :D If you want one for your very own, check out Harlequin's Facebook page , they should have the links up very soon.

HAPPY FAIRY DAY, everyone! Don't forget to tweet a favorite faery quote for a chance to win. (And don't forget to comment about it with your name and email, else I won't know you've entered.) Now, go out there and dance a jig under the full moon, or make a wish in a faery ring, or take a ride on a phouka. Or, better yet, check out some awesome faery books. Lament by Maggie Steifvater, Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr, Wonderous Strange by Leslie Livingston, and The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff are all great choices.

And, if you want to celebrate Fairy Day properly, just ask yourself: What Would Puck Do? ;)

The Iron Knight: back cover reveal

Okay, so today, we're revealing the back cover of THE IRON KNIGHT.

So, if you remember, this was the front cover:

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, here is the back:

...

...

Yes, it's PUCK. Looking very Puck-ish with that little smirk going on.

And for more awesomeness, here's the two of them together.

So, where's the synopsis, you say? Worry not, that comes later. (Can't give you EVERYTHING now, that wouldn't be evil enough, lol.) We're planning something special, so stay tuned for more excitement. :)

What sayest thou?

Iron Knight podcast

Hey, a podcast!

And... I don't sound like a chipmunk!

Well, maybe a little.

Anyway, here is the podcast I recorded at BEA, where I talk about The Iron Knight, Summer's Crossing, and of course our two favorite fey boys, Puck and Ash.

When the Hero Comes Home Anthology

Sooooo, now for something totally new.

And awesome.

I'm in an anthology! Yep, I wrote a short story for the upcoming anthology When the Hero Comes Home.

<---(See, there I am, the seventh name down.)

If you want to know what its about, well, the title pretty much says it all. Its about when the hero comes home from his heroic journey, or what happens AFTER he saves the world. Will things be the same? Will he be treated differently? Or even recognized? It has a lot of great writers, like Todd McCaffery and Jim C. Hines. AND its co-edited by Ed Greenwood. (Fangirl squee.) (If you don't know who Ed Greenwood is, you're likely not a geek.)

Anyway, you can check it out on Goodreads and let me know your thoughts. Its expected to be out sometime in August, so put it on your TBR pile. :)

Cover reveal: THE IRON KNIGHT

So, here it is.

The cover of the fourth book in The Iron Fey series. Ash's story, The Iron Knight.

But, before I reveal the awesome, gorgeous, fabulous cover, I have more exciting news to share with you.

Summer's Crossing, a free e-novella told from Puck's point of view, is available today as well, and you can get it at Harlequin's ebook store here.

And now, on to the main event.

Scroll down for lovely cover goodness.

Keep going...

Almost there... (Hey, I'm an author, I have to tease, it's in the contract.)

Ta daaaaaaa:

SIGH. Isn't it gob-smacking awesome? I love it, it's my absolute favorite so far. Oh, but we're still not done. Harlequin TEEN and I want to invite everyone to a live online event on June 15th, where we'll reveal the back cover copy of Iron Knight, and answer your burning questions about the series. (But there will be no spoilers.) So mark your calendars for that, and I'll post details later!

Thanks so much for waiting, everyone! Hope you love it as much as I do!
